Frank P. Amato, DC, DABCO

Doctor Amato received his undergraduate education at the University of Wyoming. He moved to Los Angeles and graduated in 1989 from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He completed his post-graduate doctorate studies in chiropractic orthopedics in 1996, and in 1997, became a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics(DABCO). Attaining this specialty has advanced his expertise in diagnosing and managing problems of the neuro-musculoskeletal system.

In 1998, he began focusing his continuing education on functional analysis with corresponding corrective exercise. In 1999, he received his certification in Active Release Techniques TM (ART), a specific system for treating soft tissue injuries. It has been an excellent compliment to his existing manual therapy techniques. Advancement of his functional evaluation, manual therapy, and corrective exercise techniques continue to currently be his focus.

With over 30 years of experience, Doctor Amato has worked with amateur, world class, Olympic, and professional athletes from many different sports. He has been on the medical staff at multiple sporting events. Currently, he has been on the medical staff for the AVP(American Volleyball Professionals) since 2004.
